We wrestle not against flesh and blood
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your path.
Not surprisingly our path often leads us to a person under the influence of Satan. They may even claim to be a Christian. I pray for that soul to be delivered. For “we are not of those who have turned back unto perdition but believe unto the saving of the soul.” But at the same time my spirit speaks boldly to that spirit and in my heart and mind I say to myself “who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God.” Eventually God leads me to speak to that evil, unclean or familiar spirit right out loud, even if it is in the privacy of my car while I’m driving. There have been times when I have cast out these spirits in the very presence of the afflicted, but most often it has been in my own prayer closet. And God’s word never returns void.
We are more than conquerors through him that loved us praise God.
